Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 March 2026
tulpa.network, operated by Ad Astra Computing Inc. ("we", "us", "the Company"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name and chosen handle. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider (such as the AT Protocol), we receive your public profile information from that provider.
Contact data you provide
You may import contact information (names, companies, email addresses) from CSV files or connect your email account. We only access email metadata (sender, recipient, date, subject line) — we do not read the body of your emails.
Voice conversations
When you use the voice conversation feature, your speech is processed using browser-native speech recognition. If you enable transcript saving, transcripts and AI-generated summaries are stored in your isolated database. You can disable transcript saving at any time in Settings.
Calendar and event data
You may add event information (titles, dates, locations) to help your agent surface relevant networking opportunities. This data is stored in your isolated database and used only for your agent's suggestions.
Agent mission and preferences
Your chosen goals, network openness settings and notification preferences are stored to personalize your agent's behavior. You can change these at any time.
Coordination data
When you approve, snooze or resolve items in your Coordination Feed, we store that state in your isolated database. Introduction receipts record consent from all parties involved.
Structured focus signals
When you set a Pulse (focus signal), we store the category, content and expiry in your isolated database. If you choose to share it with your network, it becomes visible to your connections.
Usage data
We collect basic usage information such as feature usage patterns and error logs to improve the Service. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
2. How we use your data
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Email address | Authentication, account recovery, service notifications |
| Contact information | Relationship management, duplicate detection, follow-up suggestions |
| Email metadata | Communication frequency analysis, relationship strength signals |
| Writing samples (if provided) | Personalizing AI-drafted messages to match your communication style |
| Voice transcripts | Conversation history, AI-generated summaries, relationship context |
| Event/calendar data | Post-event networking suggestions (Warm Paths) |
| Agent mission goals | Personalizing proactive suggestions and prioritization |
| Coordination feed data | Surfacing approvals, tracking introductions, relationship health alerts |
| Pulse/focus signals | Personalizing agent recommendations, sharing with network (if enabled) |
| Introduction receipts | Recording consent and provenance for introductions |
| Usage data | Service improvement and debugging |
3. AI processing
We use AI models to generate message drafts, analyze communication patterns, provide relationship insights, generate voice conversation summaries and coordinate agent-to-agent exchanges. Your data may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These providers are bound by their own data processing agreements and do not use your data to train their models.
3a. Agent-to-agent exchanges
When your agent communicates with another user's agent (for introductions, scheduling or context sharing), only the information you have authorized is shared. Your network openness settings control what types of exchanges your agent participates in. Coordination activities include scheduling enclaves (time-limited private coordination spaces) and generating introduction receipts that record provenance across all parties. Trust boundaries gate what your agent can share with other agents. Each exchange is logged in your audit trail with a full record of what was shared, why and what permissions allowed it. You can review all exchanges at any time.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:
- AI providers — to generate drafts and suggestions, subject to their data processing agreements
- Infrastructure providers — to host and operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting)
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena or court order
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in isolated, per-user storage. Each user's data is logically separated from other users. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices. We do not store your passwords. Where third-party authentication is used, we store only the minimum tokens required to operate the Service.
6. Data retention
- Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- You may delete your data or account at any time through the Service settings.
- Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data at any time through the Service
- Export your data in a portable format
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Disconnect external integrations (e.g., email sync) at any time
- Opt out of AI-powered features
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
